future closet: bold striped sweater
stripe sweater, Old Navy / button-front skirt, Eshakti / shoulder bag, ModCloth / faceted geo necklace, Forever 21 / shoes, Torrid
this sweater is my dream! i'm so glad it's on sale right now, so i'll most likely snatch it up this weekend. this is the green skirt i ordered from eShakti recently. i have to trick myself into not wearing everyday, i love it that much.

links a la mode — August 11th
One of the major perks of being a fashion blogger is joining a rich community of people to learn from. This week's links are all about education--from posts that take a critical look at fashion-inspired books, to an inside look at the much buzzed about fashion summer camp. Of course, we couldn't leave out a link to our favorite education event... the upcoming IFB Conference! We hope you enjoy (and learn something, too!)
New at Shopbop: Sonia Rykiel, Mont St. Michel, Jules Smith, DKNY Intimates, Belts, Pencil Skirts, Dsquared2, Vic Matie, & Rachel Zoe.

of pinterest
all images courtesy of pinterest and k leandra spring is my favorite season. i love the bright and pastel colors and the shift from cool to hot to cool again throughout the day. i'm so glad to be out of jeggings and boots and freely bare my legs and toes (they were gettin' pasty!)
my fashion goal for the season is to work my skirts and dresses. i didn't realize how many i actually own, but don't wear outside of religious or business obligations. i'm going to work harder to incorporate them in my casual looks as well.
and if you haven't joined pinterest, you should! it's an excellent way to keep track of all the images you love.
