found a little something

i've been keeping my movie ticket stubs since 2000. the oldest stub i have is from when i went to see the Flinstones Viva Rock Vegas! haha! that's a little embarrassing.

i don't go see movies a lot because i don't have a problem waiting for them to hit pay-per-view or Netflix. but i'm surprised at some of the things i've seen and don't even remember, like Atlantis, Men In Black 2, Vantage Point. bleh~

Ask and you shall receive

Edited by Vahni of Grit & Glamour

This blogging thing...it's been around a while now, and many are realizing what a rewarding endeavor it is, on a sartorial and psychological level. One thing I love about blogging is the opportunity to ask a question, ponder a theory—and have others share their thoughts and opinions as well. In this week's roundup, several bloggers reflect on the positive influence blogging has had on their lives and self-esteem. (Superb! Yay for blogging!) Others ruminated on everything from whether style is really subjective, to whether fashion as an exhibit is a trend. Or not.

Stumped for post ideas? Want more engagement with your readers? Been contemplating the style-related proclivities of society? Ask, lovelies. Everyone has an opinion, and most are chomping at the bit to share. But the most wonderful aspect of this kind of engagement is not more comments. Those are nice, yes. It's through discussion that personalities are revealed and relationships are forged. Your readers aren't just a little avatar and some words. They are vibrant individuals—and your biggest fans!

what i love this week: week of july 4th

    1. cake pops
i knew if i tried one i would love it. so i avoided them when starbucks added their petite desserts. but now it's all i think about…(dreamland~)

    2. H&M cat eye shades
just picked these up over the weekend and i absolutely love them. better yet, my sister bought them for me! i have to pay her back though.

    3. Disney songs
we are currently on block out at Disney until August and this is the only way i get my Disney fix until then. i can't believe i remember the words to all these classics.
current fave? "mine mine mine" from Pocahontas.

    4. Cargo bronzer
i have been searching high and low for a bronzer to replace my old one from Victoria's Secret. that bronzer was the only bronzer i ever knew, but after 4 years i thought i should replace it (-_-;)
nothing was doing it for me and then i found Cargo. LAAAAH~ the heavens opened. it blends seamlessly into my skin and gives me the perfect warm summer kiss i desire.
